Your First 30 Days in Avon Now that you’re all signed up, excited and ready to get started buliding a profitable Avon business, it’s time for you to realize exactly what you must do in the 1st thirty days in Avon to get paid.

In Avon, there’s basically 2 ways to get paid. They are:

1. Retailing
2. Building A Team

Even though there are many phases to both processes, we are going to focus only on what you should know to turn a profit in the first 30 days since you started building your Avon business.

#1) Selling Products in Avon

When you initially attended your Avon meeting, or were exposed to the business through a webinar, phone call, or video, there was obviously something that made you believe in Avon and what they have to offer.

Whether it was the payment plan, the culture or just the products, you found something you felt you could share with people to help improve their lives like yours was improved.

When it comes to sharing the product and gaining new customers, your enthusiasm, passion and belief are a must. However, there are a few additional criteria that you MUST consider before racing off to spread the word about Avon and their products with the market, these being:

A. What need does your product fulfill?
B. Who needs what you have to sell and is ready to purchase it today?
C. Why do they need it? (What benefits will they get from owning and buying your product?)
D. Why should they buy it from you?

As convinced as you are about the benefits of Avon’s products and how everyone can benefit from them, you still should think about the desires of your potential buyers and how their lives will be enhanced because of purchasing this product.

Avon is a sales business, and in order to retail as many products as possible, you have to use the sales process, which is:

A. Build a rapport with your potential customer
B. Ask questions to establish a need
C. Listen intently
D. Share how your product will solve their problem
E. Get their commitment and close the deal

The more friendly you become with your prospects without trying to “force” the sale on them, the more you’ll find them selling themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and allowing them the freedom to communicate and share with you exactly what their concerns are that you can sell them on!

#2) Recruiting in Avon

The true leverage in building your Avon business is in building a network of leaders who multiply your efforts, while increasing the output and profits of your organization. This is sometimes the most feared aspect of the Avon business because we often associate our “new recruits” with family and friends that we presume are going to dodge us at the next social gathering.

Building a team however, can actually be the most fun aspect of Avon once you “change your mindset” about what recruiting really is. Although you have quotas and objectives to meet so that you can receive a nice paycheck, recruiting shouldn’t just be seen as a payday. It’s actually an opportunity to improve and change someone’s life, while opening a door for them to achieve financial freedom and a whole new way to live.

There’s so much more to joining Avon than making money. Of course money is a critical part of why people join, but there are also the benefits of meeting like-minded entrepreneurs, stimulating your personal development and realizing your strengths and weaknesses. There are also chances to go to places you never imagined, and even potentially work for yourself full-time, without ever going back to clocking in at a nine to five.

Once you can learn to understand the pros of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people are dying to go with you to the next function, or get on the next conference call or webinar, just to meet or hear from some of the amazing leaders that you’ve been bragging about.

To sponsor effectively in Avon, explain the advantages of being united, instead of forcing them in for a paycheck. They will be able to tell the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Avon commissions!
