Your First 30 Days in Big Planet Now that you are enrolled, excited and ready to get started buliding a thriving Big Planet business, it’s time to think about exactly what you must do in your first month in Big Planet to get paid.

In Big Planet, there are basically two ways to get paid. They are:

1. Product Sales
2. Sponsoring

While there are several phases to both processes, we are going to focus only on those you must know to start making money in the first month of building your Big Planet business.

#1) Retailing in Big Planet

When you initially attended your Big Planet presentation, or were exposed to Big Planet through a phone call, webinar, or video, there was clearly something that made you a believer in Big Planet and what they were offering.

Whether it was the compensation plan, the culture or just the products, you found something that you felt you could offer to people to help improve their lives like yours was improved.

When it comes to offering the products and gaining customers, your belief, enthusiasm, and passion are critical. However, there are certain elements that you NEED TO consider before racing off to spread the word about Big Planet and their products with the planet, which are:

A. What need does your product serve?
B. Who wants what you have to offer and is ready to purchase it today?
C. Why do they want it? (What benefit will they get from owning and purchasing your product?)
D. Why should they get it from you?

As certain as you are about the merits of Big Planet’s products and how everyone could benefit from them, you still want to think about the desires of your potential customers and how their lifestyle will be impacted from buying this product.

Big Planet is a sales business, and in order to sell as many products as possible, you need to utilize the sales process, which is:

A. Build a rapport with your potential customer
B. Ask questions to establish a need
C. Listen carefully
D. Share how your product will solve their problem
E. Get the commitment and seal the deal

The more casual you become with your prospects without forcing the sale on them, the more you’ll find them selling themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and giving them the freedom to talk and share with you exactly what their concerns are that you can sell them on!

#2) Sponsoring in Big Planet

The true fortune in building your Big Planet business is in building a network of people who multiply your efforts, while increasing the output and profits of your organization. This is sometimes the least liked aspect of the Big Planet business because we sometimes associate our “new recruits” with friends and family that we presume are going to avoid us at the next social gathering.

Recruiting however, can actually be the most exciting aspect of Big Planet once you “change your opinion” about what team building really is. Even though you have metrics and milestones to meet so that you can receive a fat paycheck, sponsoring shouldn’t just be viewed as a payday. It’s actually your opportunity to improve and change someone’s life, while opening a door for them to discover financial freedom and a whole new way to live.

There’s so much more to being a part of Big Planet than just the money. Of course it is a critical part of why people join, but there are also the benefits of connecting with positive individuals, fostering your personal development and learning your strengths and weaknesses. There are also chances to go to places you never dreamed of, and even potentially work for yourself full-time, without ever going back to clocking in at a nine to five.

The moment you can learn to understand the pros of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people are dying to go with you to the next event, or get on the next conference call or webinar, just to hear from or meet from some of the inspiring leaders that you’ve been boasting about.

To recruit effectively in Big Planet, share the advantages of being united, instead of forcing them in for a paycheck. They will be able to tell the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Big Planet commissions!
