Your First 30 Days in Amway Now that you’re registered, excited and ready to build a thriving Amway business, it’s time to realize exactly what you have to do in the 1st thirty days in Amway to get a check.

In Amway, there are basically two ways to generate commissions. They are:

1. Selling Products
2. Building A Team

While there are many steps involved in each process, we’re going to focus only on those you need to do to turn a profit in the 1st thirty days of building your Amway business.

#1) Product Sales in Amway

The day you attended your Amway meeting, or were exposed to the company through a phone call, webinar, or video, there was obviously something that made you a believer in Amway and what they have to offer.

Whether it was the payment plan, the culture or just the products, you found something you felt you could share with others to help improve their lives like yours was impacted.

When it comes to offering your products and gaining customers, your enthusiasm, passion and belief are a must. However, there are certain criteria that you NEED TO consider before racing off to share Amway and their products with the market, which are:

A. What need does your product fulfill?
B. Who desires what you have to offer and is ready to buy it immediately?
C. Why do they need it? (What benefit will they get from owning and purchasing your product?)
D. Why should they buy it from you?

As certain as you are about the merits of Amway’s products and how everyone will benefit from them, you still should consider the requirements of your potential buyers and how their quality of life will be enhanced from purchasing this product.

Amway is a sales business, and in order to retail as much product as possible, you must utilize the sales process, which is:

A. Build a rapport with your potential buyer
B. Ask questions to establish a need
C. Listen carefully
D. Share how your product will solve their problem
E. Get a commitment and seal the deal

The more friendly you are with your prospects without pushing the sale on them, the more you’ll find them closing themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and giving them the freedom to talk and explain to you exactly what their hot buttons are that you can sell them on!

#2) Building A Team in Amway

The true fortune in building your Amway business is in building a team of people who duplicate your results, while increasing the output and profits of your organization. This is sometimes the least liked aspect of the Amway business because we often associate our “new recruits” with friends and family that we presume will dodge us at the next family event.

Building a team however, can actually be the most fun aspect of Amway once you “change your thinking” about what recruiting really is. Even though you have metrics and goals to meet so that you can earn a nice commission, recruiting shouldn’t just be viewed as a payday. It’s actually a chance to improve and change someone’s life, while offering them a chance to achieve financial freedom and a whole new way to live.

There is so much more to being a part of Amway than making money. Of course the money a critical part of why people do join, but there are also the benefits of connecting with positive people, enhancing your personal development and understanding your strengths and weaknesses. There are also opportunities to go on vacations you never dreamed of, and even potentially work for yourself fully, without ever having to go back to a nine to five.

Once you can learn to understand the pros of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people are dying to go with you to the next function, or get on the next webinar or conference call, just so they can meet or hear from some of the amazing leaders that you’ve been bragging about.

To build a team effectively in Amway, share the pros of being connected, instead of forcing them in for the commissions. They will be able to tell the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Amway commissions!
