Your First 30 Days in Scentsy Now that you’re enrolled, excited and ready to get started buliding a thriving Scentsy business, you must realize exactly what you must do in your 1st month in Scentsy to start making money.

In Scentsy, there are basically two ways to generate an income. They are:

1. Product Sales
2. Building A Team

Despite the fact that there are several phases to each process, we are going to focus on what you must do to get a check in the 1st 30 days since you started your Scentsy business.

#1) Retailing in Scentsy

The day you attended your Scentsy meeting, or were exposed to the products through a phone call, webinar, or video, there was clearly something that made you a believer in Scentsy and what they have to offer.

Regardless if it was the compensation structure, the culture or just the products, you found something you felt you could offer to people to help improve their lives like yours was improved.

When it comes to offering the products and gaining new customers, your belief, enthusiasm, and passion are critical. However, there are certain criteria that you NEED TO consider before racing off to share Scentsy and their products with the planet, these being:

A. What need does your product fulfill?
B. Who needs what you have to sell and is ready to purchase it today?
C. Why do they desire it? (What benefits will they obtain from owning and buying your product?)
D. Why should they purchase it from you?

As convinced as you are about the benefits of Scentsy’s products and how everyone can benefit from them, you still should think about the desires of your potential buyers and how their quality of life will be enhanced from purchasing this product.

Scentsy is a sales business, and in order to sell as many products as possible, you have to execute the sales process, which is:

A. Build a rapport with your potential client
B. Ask questions to create a need
C. Listen intently
D. Share how your product will solve their problem
E. Get a commitment and seal the deal

The more friendly you become with your prospects without forcing the sale on them, the more you’ll find them closing themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and giving them the ability to communicate and share with you exactly what their hot buttons are that you can sell them on!

#2) Building A Team in Scentsy

The true fortune in building your Scentsy business is in building a team of people who duplicate your efforts, while increasing the production and earnings of your organization. This is sometimes the least liked aspect of the Scentsy business because we sometimes associate our “new recruits” with family and friends that we presume will avoid us at the next family event.

Recruiting however, can actually be the most exciting aspect of Scentsy if you “change your opinion” about what recruiting really is. Even though you have metrics and goals you want to hit so that you can earn a fat commission, recruiting shouldn’t just be viewed as a payday. It’s actually your opportunity to impact and change someone’s life, while offering them an opportunity to achieve financial freedom and a whole new way to live.

There is so much more to joining Scentsy than the money. Of course the money a critical reason for why people join, but there are also the benefits of connecting with positive individuals, fostering your personal development and realizing your strengths and weaknesses. There are also opportunities to go to places you never thought possible, and even potentially work for yourself full-time, without ever going back to clocking in at a 9 to 5.

Once you decide to interpret the benefits of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people can’t wait to go with you to the next function, or get on the next conference call or webinar, just so they can meet or hear from some of the inspiring leaders that you’ve been telling them about.

To build a team effectively in Scentsy, share the pros of being united, rather than forcing them in for the commissions. They will be able to tell the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Scentsy commissions!
