Your First 30 Days in Scent-Lit Now that you are enrolled, pumped up and ready to get started buliding a thriving Scent-Lit business, it’s time to learn exactly what you need to do in the 1st month in Scent-Lit to profit.

In Scent-Lit, there’s basically two ways to get money. They are:

1. Retailing
2. Sponsoring

While there are many steps involved in both processes, we’re going to focus only on what you should know to turn a profit in the first thirty days of building your Scent-Lit business.

#1) Retailing in Scent-Lit

When you initially attended your Scent-Lit meeting, or were exposed to the business through a video, phone call, or webinar there was clearly something that made you believe in Scent-Lit and what they were offering.

Regardless if it was the payment plan, the products or just the culture, you found something that you felt you could share with people to help impact their lives like yours was impacted.

When it comes to offering your products and gaining customers, your enthusiasm, passion and belief are a must. However, there are a few additional criteria that you NEED TO consider before hurrying off to share Scent-Lit and their products with the market, these being:

A. What need does your product fill?
B. Who desires what you have to offer and is ready to buy it right now?
C. Why do they desire it? (What benefits will they obtain from owning and buying your product?)
D. Why should they buy it from you?

As convinced as you are about the merits of Scent-Lit’s products and how everyone can benefit from them, you still want to think about the requirements of your potential buyers and how their lives will be improved because of purchasing this product.

Scent-Lit is a sales business, and in order to sell as much product as possible, you must use the sales process, which is:

A. Create rapport with your potential client
B. Ask questions to create a need
C. Listen closely
D. Share how your product will solve their problem
E. Get their commitment and seal the deal

The more conversational you become with your prospects without pushing the sale on them, the more you’ll find them closing themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and giving them the ability to communicate and explain to you exactly what their concerns are that you can sell them on!

#2) Sponsoring in Scent-Lit

The true fortune in building your Scent-Lit business is in building a network of people who multiply your efforts, while increasing the output and earnings of your organization. This is sometimes the least liked aspect of the Scent-Lit business because we sometimes associate our “new recruits” with friends and family that we assume are going to dodge us at the next social event.

Building a team however, can actually be the most exciting part of Scent-Lit once you “change your thinking” about what recruiting really is. Although you have metrics and objectives to meet so that you can receive a fat commission, sponsoring shouldn’t just be viewed as a payday. It’s actually your opportunity to improve and change someone’s life, while offering them a chance to discover financial independence and a whole new way to live.

There’s so much more to joining Scent-Lit than just the money. Of course it is an important reason for why people join, but there are also the benefits of meeting positive people, improving your personal development and learning your strengths and weaknesses. There are also opportunities to go to places you never imagined, and even potentially work for yourself full-time, without ever going back to clocking in at a nine to five.

The moment you can learn to realize the advantages of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people can’t wait to go with you to the next function, or get on the next webinar or conference call, just to hear from or meet from some of the amazing leaders that you’ve been telling them about.

To sponsor effectively in Scent-Lit, explain the benefits of being united, rather than coaxing them in for a paycheck. They will be able to see the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Scent-Lit commissions!
