Your First 30 Days in Nu Skin Now that you’re registered, pumped up and ready to build a thriving Nu Skin business, it’s time to think about exactly what you must do in your 1st month in Nu Skin to start making money.

In Nu Skin, there are two primary ways to generate a paycheck. They are:

1. Product Sales
2. Recruiting

While there are several phases to each process, we’re going to focus only on what you must do to profit in the 1st 30 days of building your Nu Skin business.

#1) Retailing in Nu Skin

When you first attended your Nu Skin meeting, or were exposed to the products through a webinar, phone call, or video, there was clearly something that made you a believer in Nu Skin and what they were offering.

Whether it was the compensation structure, the culture or just the products, you found something that you felt you could offer to people to help improve their lives like yours was impacted.

When it comes to offering your product and gaining new customers, your belief, enthusiasm, and passion are critical. However, there are a few additional criteria that you NEED TO consider before hurrying off to spread the word about Nu Skin and their products with the market, which are:

A. What need does your product fill?
B. Who needs what you have to offer and is ready to purchase it right now?
C. Why do they desire it? (What benefits will they get from owning and buying your product?)
D. Why should they purchase it from you?

As convinced as you are about the merits of Nu Skin’s products and how everyone could benefit from them, you still should think about the desires of your potential buyers and how their lives will be impacted because of buying this product.

Nu Skin is a sales business, and in order to sell as many products as possible, you need to execute the sales process, which is:

A. Build a rapport with your potential client
B. Ask questions to establish a need
C. Listen intently
D. Explain how your product will solve their problem
E. Get the commitment and seal the deal

The more friendly you become with your prospects without pushing the sale on them, the more you’ll find them selling themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and giving them the freedom to communicate and explain to you exactly what their concerns are that you can sell them on!

#2) Sponsoring in Nu Skin

The true leverage in building your Nu Skin business is in building a team of people who multiply your efforts, while increasing the volume and profits of your organization. This is often the most hated aspect of the Nu Skin business because we sometimes associate our “new recruits” with friends and family that we assume are going to dodge us at the next social event.

Sponsoring however, can actually be the most exciting part of Nu Skin if you “change your reality” about what sponsoring really is. Even though you have metrics and milestones you want to hit so that you can earn a nice paycheck, team building shouldn’t just be viewed as a payday. It’s actually an opportunity to improve and change someone’s life, while offering them an opportunity to achieve financial independence and a whole new way of living.

There is so much more to joining Nu Skin than the money. Of course the money an important reason for why people join, but there are also the benefits of meeting like-minded entrepreneurs, enhancing your personal development and evaluating your strengths and weaknesses. There are also chances to go on vacations you never imagined, and even potentially work from home full-time, without ever going back to clocking in at a nine to five.

Once you can learn to realize the benefits of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people can’t wait to go with you to the next function, or get on the next conference call or webinar, just so they can hear from or meet from some of the inspiring leaders that you’ve been bragging about.

To recruit effectively in Nu Skin, explain the advantages of being connected, instead of coaxing them in for a paycheck. They will be able to see the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Nu Skin commissions!
