Your First 30 Days in Day 1 Now that you’re all signed up, excited and ready to get started buliding a thriving Day 1 business, you need to learn exactly what you must do in your 1st thirty days in Day 1 to start making money.

In Day 1, there’s two primary ways to get money. They are:

1. Product Sales
2. Sponsoring

While there are several steps involved in each process, we are going to focus only on what you should do to turn a profit in the first month since you started your Day 1 business.

#1) Selling Products in Day 1

When you first attended your Day 1 meeting, or were exposed to the opportunity through a webinar, phone call, or video, there was clearly something that made you believe in Day 1 and what they have to offer.

Whether it was the compensation structure, the products or just the culture, you found something you felt you could offer to others to help improve their lives like yours was impacted.

When it comes to offering your product and gaining customers, your enthusiasm, passion and belief are a must. However, there are a few additional elements that you NEED TO consider before hurrying off to spread the word about Day 1 and their products with the planet, which are:

A. What need does your product fulfill?
B. Who desires what you have to sell and is ready to buy it right now?
C. Why do they want it? (What benefits will they get from owning and buying your product?)
D. Why should they get it from you?

As certain as you are about the merits of Day 1’s products and how everyone will benefit from them, you still should consider the requirements of your potential buyers and how their quality of life will be improved because of buying this product.

Day 1 is a sales business, and in order to retail as many products as possible, you have to execute the sales process, which is:

A. Create rapport with your potential buyer
B. Ask questions to establish a need
C. Listen carefully
D. Explain how your product will solve their problem
E. Get the commitment and seal the deal

The more casual you become with your prospects without pushing the sale on them, the more you’ll find them selling themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and allowing them the freedom to communicate and share with you exactly what their concerns are that you can sell them on!

#2) Building A Team in Day 1

The true fortune in building your Day 1 business is in building a team of leaders who duplicate your efforts, while increasing the output and profits of your organization. This is often the least liked aspect of the Day 1 business because we often associate the task of sponsoring with friends and family that we assume are going to dodge us at Christmas Dinner.

Building a team however, can actually be the most fun aspect of Day 1 if you “change your assumption” about what recruiting really is. Although you have quotas and objectives you want to hit so that you can receive a fat commission, team building shouldn’t just be seen as a payday. It’s actually your opportunity to impact and change someone’s life, while offering them an opportunity to achieve financial independence and a whole new way of living.

There’s so much more to being a part of Day 1 than the money. Of course it is an integral part of why people do join, but there are also the benefits of connecting with like-minded entrepreneurs, fostering your personal development and understanding your weaknesses and strengths. There are also chances to go on vacations you never dreamed of, and even potentially work for yourself full-time, without ever having to go back to a 9 to 5.

Once you decide to realize the advantages of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people can’t wait to go with you to the next function, or get on the next conference call or webinar, just to meet or hear from some of the amazing leaders that you’ve been telling them about.

To recruit effectively in Day 1, explain the benefits of being united, instead of forcing them in for a paycheck. They will be able to tell the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Day 1 commissions!
