Your First 30 Days in Once Upon A Family Now that you are registered, pumped up and ready to get started buliding a profitable Once Upon A Family business, it’s time for you to consider exactly what you need to do in your first 30 days in Once Upon A Family to get a check.

In Once Upon A Family, there are basically 2 ways to get paid. They are:

1. Selling Products
2. Sponsoring

While there are several phases to both processes, we’re going to focus only on those you should know to turn a profit in the 1st 30 days of building your Once Upon A Family business.

#1) Retailing in Once Upon A Family

When you initially attended your Once Upon A Family meeting, or were exposed to Once Upon A Family through a video, phone call, or webinar there was obviously something that made you a believer in Once Upon A Family and what they have to offer.

Regardless if it was the payment structure, the products or just the culture, you found something that you felt you could offer to others to help improve their lives like yours was improved.

When it comes to sharing the product and gaining new customers, your enthusiasm, passion and belief are critical. However, there are certain criteria that you NEED TO consider before hurrying off to spread the word about Once Upon A Family and their products with the market, which are:

A. What need does your product fill?
B. Who wants what you have to sell and is ready to purchase it today?
C. Why do they want it? (What benefit will they obtain from owning and purchasing your product?)
D. Why should they purchase it from you?

As convinced as you are about the benefits of Once Upon A Family’s products and how everyone can benefit from them, you still should think about the desires of your potential buyers and how their lives will be improved because of purchasing this product.

Once Upon A Family is a sales business, and in order to sell as many products as possible, you must implement the sales process, which is:

A. Create rapport with your future buyer
B. Ask questions to establish a need
C. Listen closely
D. Share how your product will eliminate their problem
E. Get their commitment and close the deal

The more friendly you are with your prospects without trying to “push” the sale on them, the more you’ll find them closing themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and giving them the ability to communicate and explain to you exactly what their hot buttons are that you can sell them on!

#2) Building A Team in Once Upon A Family

The true leverage in building your Once Upon A Family business is in building a network of people who duplicate your efforts, while increasing the volume and profits of your organization. This is often the most hated aspect of the Once Upon A Family business because we often associate the task of recruiting with friends and family that we assume are going to avoid us at Thanksgiving Dinner.

Sponsoring however, can actually be the most exciting aspect of Once Upon A Family if you “change your thinking” about what team building really is. Although you have metrics and goals you want to meet so that you can receive a fat paycheck, team building shouldn’t just be seen as a payday. It’s actually your chance to improve and change someone’s life, while offering them an opportunity to achieve financial freedom and a whole new way to live.

There’s so much more to joining Once Upon A Family than making money. Of course it is a critical part of why people join, but there are also the benefits of connecting with positive individuals, improving your personal development and understanding your weaknesses and strengths. There are also opportunities to go on vacations you never imagined, and even potentially work for yourself fully, without ever going back to clocking in at a 9 to 5.

Once you start to interpret the benefits of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people can’t wait to go with you to the next function, or get on the next conference call or webinar, just so they can hear from or meet from some of the amazing leaders that you’ve been telling them about.

To recruit effectively in Once Upon A Family, share the merits of being united, rather than forcing them in for a paycheck. They will be able to tell the difference, and you will too when it comes to your Once Upon A Family commissions!
