Your First 30 Days in business Now that you’re registered, pumped up and ready to get started building a thriving business, it’s time for you to consider exactly what you must do in your first 30 days in business to start making money.

In business, there are basically two ways to get paid. They are:

1. Retailing
2. Recruiting

While there are several steps involved in both processes, we’re going to focus only on those you need to know to get a check in the 1st month starting your business.

#1) Product Sales

The day you attended your business meeting, or were exposed to the business through a video, phone call, or webinar there was obviously something that made you believe in business and what they have to offer.

Whether it was the payment structure, the products or just the culture, you found something that you felt you could offer to people to help impact their lives like yours was impacted.

When it comes to offering the product and gaining new customers, your belief, enthusiasm, and passion are a must. However, there are certain elements that you MUST consider before racing off to spread the word about business and their products with the market, these being:

A. What need does your product fill?
B. Who needs what you have to offer and is ready to buy it immediately?
C. Why do they desire it? (What benefit will they get from owning and buying your product?)
D. Why should they get it from you?

As certain as you are about the merits of business’s products and how everyone could benefit from them, you still should consider the desires of your potential clients and how their lives will be enhanced because of buying this product.

business is a sales business, and in order to sell as much product as possible, you have to utilize the sales process, which is:

A. Create rapport with your potential buyer
B. Ask questions to create a need
C. Listen carefully
D. Explain how your product will eliminate their problem
E. Get a commitment and seal the deal

The more relaxed you become with your prospects without trying to “push” the sale on them, the more you’ll find them selling themselves on the products just by asking them the right questions and giving them the freedom to talk and explain to you exactly what their hot buttons are that you can sell them on!

#2) Building A Team

The true leverage in building your business is in building a network of people who duplicate your efforts, while increasing the volume and profits of your organization. This is sometimes the least liked aspect of the business because we often associate the task of sponsoring with family and friends that we assume are going to avoid us at Christmas Dinner.

Building a team however, can actually be the most fun aspect of business once you “change your assumption” about what team building really is. Although you have quotas and goals to hit so that you can receive a nice paycheck, sponsoring shouldn’t just be seen as a payday. It’s actually a chance to impact and change someone’s life, while opening a door for them to discover financial freedom and a whole new way to live.

There’s so much more to being a part of business than just the money. Of course that’s a critical part of why people do join, but there are also the benefits of meeting like-minded people, stimulating your personal development and realizing your strengths and weaknesses. There are also opportunities to go to places you never thought possible, and even potentially work from home full-time, without ever going back to clocking in at a nine to five.

The moment you start to understand the pros of your new “Millionaire Fraternity or Sorority”, you will find that people are dying to go with you to the next function, or get on the next webinar or conference call, just to meet or hear from some of the inspiring leaders that you’ve been bragging about.

To recruit effectively in business, explain the merits of being connected, rather than forcing them in for a paycheck. They will be able to tell the difference, and you will too when it comes to your business commissions!
